Big government did it again

Now they are going to save the world by turning our food into fuel for our cars. I am of the opinion that ethanol is a great fuel for our cars but not on a large scale. At least not when it requires so much farming infrastructure to produce it. First the governments screwed up when they destroyed local economies by flooding the local markets with free food. Sure, it sounds so nice to give needy people free food BUT all that free food caused local farmers to stop farming in too many places around the world. Now we have whole peoples dependent upon that free food instead of producing it themselves. Their local economies have been destroyed because farmers can't make a living competing against free food. In areas where there is war the local armies or armed groups simply take that free food for themselves and let the people starve. Nice move big government. Now lets make it better by turning our surplus food into fuel, what a bunch of crap!

All religion is a lie

As many of you I too wanted to have a knowledge of the Bible, at least enough to be comfortable with my understanding of it. I never desired to be a religious person. I still have that view, one that sees a big difference between worship of the creator and religion. In short I will get right to my point, all religion is an invention of man. Religion really has no place in true worship of the creator. When I say that all religion is mans invention I mean ALL religion. I remember the day that thought became so clear to me. Suddenly so many things were clear to me. To be able to think of the god of the bible in a non religious manner was like a breath of fresh air. John Lennon was right, imagine there was no religion, just a true understanding of things around us. I know this kind of thinking must piss off a lot of people or perhaps it is as refreshing to you as it is for me. I have come to view religion in the same light as I view government, something that cannot be trusted.
